Scholar of education, language policy, digital public discourse, and social change in Central Asia
I am a scholar whose work examines education, language policy, academic literacies, digital public discourse, and social change in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. My research combines qualitative, quantitative, and digital methods to understand how institutions, publics, and individuals navigate social, educational, and political transformation.

My teaching focuses on academic writing, rhetoric and composition, research writing, citation practices, critical reading, and communication in English-medium higher education.
